Calvin Ellis, PA-C
Our Staff
Mr. Ellis is a native of Craven County.  He received  his BS in Business        
Administration from Mount Olive College in 1997.  He then graduated from
the East Carolina University Physician Assistant program with a BS
degree in 2003.  Later that same year he completed his Masters Degree
from Duke University in Physician Assistant studies.

Mr. Ellis is Board Certified as a Physician Assistant, and he completes a
minimum of 50 hours of Continuing Education annually.

Mr. Ellis worked as a medical provider at ECU's Student Health Service
from 2003-2007.  

He has three children, Brittany, Amber, and Braxton, and is a member of
the Gold Point Church of Christ in Robersonville.

Sharon Gambill, Certified Medical Assistant
Marion Waters, Medical Assistant
Marion is a Medical Assistant. She attended Southwest Edgecombe
High School and Pitt Community College where she received her
medical assistant training.  She has been with WMC since 2009.  

She has one son, Aidan.  She enjoys hunting, fishing and football.  
Sharon has been with Wintergreen Medical Center since we first
opened in 2007.

Sharon was born in Texas and moved to North Carolina with her
husband Stanley in 2000.  She has been a Nationally Certified Medical
Assistant since 1996.

Sharon lives in Farmville with her husband, Stanley, and their two
children, Connor and Dalton.  She loves Halloween and Christmas.

Clara Whichard, Medical Assistant
Clara joined us in 2015 from Orthopedics East.  She graduated in
2012 from Pitt community college with her Medical Assistant
degree. Clara grew up in Stokes on her family farm. She lives with
her spouse Christina and enjoys fishing.
Bob Barwick, PA-C
Bob Barwick is originally from South Carolina, but grew up near Charlotte,
NC.  He attended North Carolina State University where he earned
degrees in zoology and fisheries science.  He graduated from the East
Carolina University Physician Assistant program and joined Wintergreen
Medical Center after graduation.  He is a licensed, board-certified PA and
maintains certification through continuing medical education.  

Bob enjoys fishing, hunting, gardening, and woodworking.  He lives in
Greenville with his wife Virginia, and their son Ben.
